Production Requirements
File formats
Preferred format:
- PDF
PDF/X-1a:2001, pass4press PDF or equivalent press ready PDF
(Allow 3mm bleed where appropriate)
Acceptable formats:
- JPG, TIFF, Bitmap EPS or PDF
300dpi minimum, CMYK, flattened files (i.e. No transparency) - Vector EPS
Embed or outline all type matter, flatten files (i.e. No transparency), CMYK
Mac Applications (specs as above):
- QuarkXpress version 7
- Illustrator version CS2
- Photoshop version CS2
- Freehand version 10
- InDesign version CS2
Important – please note:
a) We cannot accept Microsoft Word or PowerPoint files
b) Please ensure that all files are sent as high-resolution (300dpi)
If material is supplied to our specifications then no charges will apply. However, if you supply material outside our specifications or wish to make corrections, then an additional charge may apply.

Recommended for smaller files only (below 10Mb)
FTP
Files can be sent via your FTP site or uploaded onto Seatrade’s FTP site
